Course Description

Join us for the academic edition of our most innovative course: The Art of Facial Assessment and the Science of Aging. Intended for non-clinical staff and estheticians, this online only training offers the science behind the skills providers need to critically approach consultations and tailor treatment plans to their patients’ goals. We will discuss advanced facial anatomical layers and how each is uniquely affected by the aging process, frequent patient concerns and corresponding treatment recommendations, contraindications for popular treatments such as under eye filler and lip flips, facial landmarks and projections, as well as language to use during the consultation to build trust between patient and provider.
If you are a licensed medical provider looking to get certified to treat your own patients and receive CME/CEU credit, check out our Hybrid or In-Person versions of this course. Both will leave you with 10 hours of CME/CEU credit and certified to treat your own patients.
This version of the course is for unlicensed medical aesthetic professionals such as office staff, medical assistants, and estheticians, or for licensed clinical providers without reciprocity in the state of New Hampshire. Graduates of this course will receive a certificate of completion as opposed to a certificate of competency and will NOT be licensed to treat their own patients without completing the in person practical that is available as part of the Hybrid course or separately.
This course is taught by our master injector and head of faculty, Dr. Tara Delle Chiaie DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, ABAAHP who will spend the first part of the course reviewing anatomy and the most common complaints we hear from patients on a daily basis. We will then go into the potential treatment options, while considering the patient’s own aesthetic goals and safety.

Dr. Tara Delle Chiaie, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, ABAAHP
Tara is the owner of Delle Chiaie Cosmetic Medicine and Delle Chiaie Concierge Medicine as well as the founder and principal instructor of DCCM™ Academy, an ever-expanding training school for the next generation of aesthetic injectors. She has been in medicine since 2002, spending 18 years in the ER before becoming an APRN and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner nationally recognized through the ANCC. She currently holds her Doctor of Nursing Practice and her MSN. She continually researches cutting-edge cosmetic technologies to improve the future of safe nursing practice.
She is an active member of the ANA-American Nurses Association, ISPAN-International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, ANCC-American Nurses Credentialing Center, AAMEP-American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She holds well over 100 additional certifications in advanced aesthetic training and travels the world to learn new techniques, improve her skills, and stay up to date in the ever-advancing aesthetics industry.
