Course Description
Join us for the clinical only edition of our accredited Essentials of Dermal Filler: Mid Facial Structure course and become certified to treat your patients with FDA-approved dermal filler lines of products such as Juvéderm®, Restylane®, RHA®, and Revanesse® with a focus on mid facial treatment areas such as the cheeks.
Our clinical edition group training courses are designed to provide extra hands-on practice in the same one on one clinical setting that makes our certification courses so popular. We provide all of the models necessary for our clinical only trainings and we ensure you never need to share a model with any other student. Perfect for new and experienced injectors alike, these trainings are an excellent alternative to private trainings for those who find model recruitment difficult or for those who do not want to invest in a full length private training. You can also ask any questions you may have about marketing or business development during this course and our experienced instructors can offer their insight.
Please note, this course includes models should you be unable to recruit your own, but not product. You can either bring your own product or purchase it at cost from DCCM™ Academy. We encourage all students to bring their own models so you can begin to build a patient base of repeat clients, however we will provide models for you should you be unable to find any. This course includes enough time for you to treat 2 models only. If you would like to treat more models we recommend booking a private training with Tara Delle Chiaie, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, ABAAHP as this will be a much better value. - You possess your LPN/RN/NP/PA/MD/DO in the state of New Hampshire or another Nursing License Compact (NLC) state if applicable. You can check that here. If you do not have your license in New Hampshire, you can apply for a NH license by reciprocity on the state’s website. If you possess a license from a state in the NLC, you can submit that license, there is no need to apply for an NH license via reciprocity.
- You are already certified in cosmetic neurotoxin administration either through DCCM™ Academy or another accredited training academy.
- You understand this training covers 2 models only ( if you would like more, we encourage you to take a private training with us. You can learn more about private trainings on the course home page).
- You understand this training covers only dermal filler administration in mid and lower facial treatment areas (if you would like training in two or more areas we recommend a private training as a better value).
- You understand this is a group training, not a private training. Part of this training will consist of you observing other students during their one-on-one with the instructor.
- You do NOT need product provided for you (you can bring your own unopened, unexpired, FDA approved, USA marked and purchased product from the manufacturer or purchase from DCCM™ Academy at cost).
- You would like the option to explore off-label or advanced treatment areas on your models.
- You do NOT need CME/CEU credit.
- You do NOT need a certificate of competency in cosmetic neurotoxin and/or dermal filler administration. You will get a certificate of completion in extra training for your wall, however this will not satisfy your insurance’s requirements for additional training without your original certificate of competency from DCCM™ Academy or another accredited training program.
- You do NOT need access to the recorded lecture or the course manual (both included in the hybrid version of the course)
📚Educational and Learning Objectives for this Course:
This mid facial dermal filler certification course is designed for medical professionals to further their knowledge in the intricacies of cosmetic injections and essential treatment areas. The course is taught in two parts; a recorded lecture session followed by clinical hands-on training with live models. Under the guidance of Dr. Tara Delle Chiaie, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, ABAAHP students will learn the latest injection techniques as well as storage and handling procedures all while using top quality dermal filler products. Students will also gain real-life experience by conducting live model consultations, creating unique treatment plans, and performing dermal filler injections under direct instructor supervision. Students will also learn pricing, packaging, and marketing techniques to help them expand their business and build on the skills they have learned in this course.
At the completion of this intensive course, students should be able to:
- Recognize the history of dermal filler use in cosmetic medicine.
- Label relevant facial anatomical features.
- Explain dermal fillers’ mechanism of action in the body.
- Identify and distinguish FDA approved dermal filler products.
- Assemble the best combination of products to achieve individual patient goals.
- Analyze the safety concerns dermal filler and be able to relate these to common contraindications.
- Approach facial assessments with confidence, considering the unique anatomy of individual patients.
- Manage patient expectations of cosmetic outcomes.
- Prepare patients for treatment.
- Recognize and mitigate potential complications.
- Manage any specific complications that arise, maintaining the highest level of patient safety.
- Demonstrate competence in dermal filler injection techniques with an emphasis on the mid face and cheeks on label per product indications.
- Follow and advise patients on post-procedure guidelines for optimal treatment results.

Dr. Tara Delle Chiaie, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, ABAAHP
Tara is the owner of Delle Chiaie Cosmetic Medicine and Delle Chiaie Concierge Medicine as well as the founder and principal instructor of DCCM™ Academy, an ever-expanding training school for the next generation of aesthetic injectors. She has been in medicine since 2002, spending 18 years in the ER before becoming an APRN and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner nationally recognized through the ANCC. She currently holds her Doctor of Nursing Practice and her MSN. She continually researches cutting-edge cosmetic technologies to improve the future of safe nursing practice.
Tara grew up in the beauty industry and sought to combine her passion for patient health and safety with the confidence and artistry of cosmetic medicine. Her focus is on bringing patients’ inner beauty to the surface by preserving and enhancing their natural features. In this field, there is no one-size-fits-all. Understanding the intricacies of individual patients’ underlying anatomy is crucial to producing balanced and consistent results as well as building trust between patient and injector.
She is an active member of the ANA-American Nurses Association, ISPAN-International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, ANCC-American Nurses Credentialing Center, AAMEP-American Academy of Medical Esthetic Professionals, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She holds well over 100 additional certifications in advanced aesthetic training and travels the world to learn new techniques, improve her skills, and stay up to date in the ever-advancing aesthetics industry.
