DCCM Academy offers four expertly designed group training courses: Cosmetic Neurotoxin Essentials, Mid-Facial Dermal Filler Essentials, Lip Augmentation Essentials, and The Art of Facial Assessment & The Science of Aging. Each course is available in four flexible editions to fit your learning style and schedule: Fully In-Person, Hybrid, Academic, and Clinical Only.

Fully In-Person

Experience the original DCCM Academy format: a full 10-hour day of immersive learning. Begin with a structured morning of didactic instruction, enjoy lunch, then practice hands-on injections with models and products provided. With a strict 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio, you’ll gain confidence and competence in real time. Students receive a certificate of competency, CME/CEU credit, and a comprehensive course manual. Ideal for those who thrive in a distraction-free, in-person learning environment.

Hybrid

Combine the best of virtual and in-person learning. Access a recorded lecture at your convenience, then join us for the hands-on clinical session. Models and products are provided, and the 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio ensures personalized guidance. Students earn a certificate of competency, CME/CEU credit, and a course manual. Perfect for learners with busy schedules or those who benefit from pausing and revisiting lecture content.

Academic

Designed for non-clinical staff, estheticians, and industry professionals seeking knowledge without performing treatments, this edition is fully virtual and provides comprehensive instruction and a certificate of completion. CME/CEU credit is not included; a course manual is available for purchase. This is the ideal option for those who want to deepen their understanding of aesthetics theory and practice.

Clinical Only

A targeted, hands-on experience for licensed clinicians who are already certified in the relevant skill area. Small groups focus solely on essential and advanced clinical techniques. Each student treats two models under instructor supervision while peers observe and ask questions. Product is not provided but can be acquired through your supplier or DCCM Academy. Students receive a certificate of completion, making this an accessible way to refine skills and expand practical experience.

Meet The Instructor

My name is Tara, and I am the owner of DCCM Academy and Delle Chiaie Cosmetic Medicine. I have been in medicine since 2002 as a Registered Nurse. In 2011, I graduated from the accelerated program at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and immediately became nationally recognized through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. In 2023, I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Aspen University.
I grew up in the beauty industry and found it was a great union to blend beauty with medicine. I am passionate about creating the next generation of skilled injectors that can assess, deliver and promote a new generation of enhancement. Blending science and artistry, my hands-on approach empowers students to make informed product and service decisions based on their client’s goals while keeping safety and comfort a top priority.
